先日、次男が、サッカー部のレギュラーから外されたようです。
妻が言うには、やる気がなく見える、試合出たくないと言ってるみたいだということでした。
ただ、私には、そうは見えませんでした。
先日、あまりにもスパイクのイボがなくなっていたので、スパイクを買ってあげました。なかなか自分から欲しいと言わないタイプなので、いつもこちらからです。なんだか買ってあげないと可哀そうになってしまうのです。
下の子みたいに買って買ってと何度もいわれると我慢しなさいと言いたくなりますが、何も文句を言わずに、すり減ったスパイクを使っていると、こっちから声をかけてしまうのです。
その辺は、うまいなと思います。(笑)
その買ったスパイクを使ったあとにきれいに磨いていました。だから、やる気がないってことではなく、寡黙な性格なので、先生や周りからは、やる気がないように見えてしまっただけなのではと思います。
実際のところは、本人が言ったわけではないのでわかりません。
次男は、小学校の時、試合に使ってもらえず、ずっと試合はベンチでした。
出たとしても、5分くらいです。
なので、次男は、そのころは、クラブに行きたくないと言っていました。
ただ、中学に上がって、11人制になったことで、試合にでれるようになったのです。
確かに足もそんなに早くもなく、運動量が多いわけでもないです。
それでも、ボランチをやっていて、センターバックと連携してポジションチェンジをしたりしていたので、うまくやっているなと思っていました。
次男に、先生にレギュラー外されるって言われたの？
と聞いたら、瞬発力がないから、そこを改善しないとと言われてしまったそうです。
その日から、年下の子がレギュラーになり、次男は、Bチームで試合にでています。
でも、次男が、行きたいくないやりたくないとは言っていないです。
Aで出られなくなっても、腐らずに続けているのですから、立派です。
私は、ついAで活躍してほしいという私の願望から見てしまっていたと思います。
部活で、レギュラーを外されても、腐らずに続けている次男を応援しなければと思いました。
部活で、試合にでれるかどうかはわかりませんが、そのために頑張るのは、次男の課題です。
私達がどうこう言うことでないですね。
もう中学3年で、夏の大会でおわりなので、結果的に、最後まで出られないかもしれませんが、毎日さぼらず、部活にいく次男を誇りに思いたいと思いました。
今回、このブログを書いていながら、次男を出してほしいなと思いながら書いていましたが、書いているうちに、これは、自分の希望で、やっているのは、次男だな、彼が、腐らずにやっていることをもっと見てあげなければと思いました。
以前にも、書きましたが、親の希望で子供も動かそうとしないようにしたいと思います。
